As of right now I only have the Your and You're and the Randy's Revenge of the four I mentioned, but I need to get a Soundcloud up to post tracks anyway so I'll try to do something like that!

I've been wanting to bring a plan to fruition for a few years now: get a Machine and team it with a Percolator and Jen HF Modulator. Can't afford all that, so... Gonna have to build it myself. Eventually.

Sadly, this has been my experience with SA pedals. But the basic sound is good.
I have actually owned both of these, purchased around 15-20 years ago. Sold the Machine in Japan - it was an old one and this guy was collecting them. Used the Prunes & Custard once - great pedal, but decided to sell it a few years ago. Once I tried it and it didn't do anything for me, decided to sell, when I tested it while listing it on Reverb I realized I used it wrong before - it sounded amazing! Kind of regret letting it go - no, I won't think like that!
Here it is (P&C) with a '68 Gibson EB-2 in the pic driving it (and a stereo drone - Moog Rogue filtered in stereo by MF-101 & Frostwave Resonator controlled by Moog CP-251):

i like that. particularly the chordal information bubbling right above the surface (that it’s there, but just barely, at least on my phone.)

Well, I've got nothing of value, no Hammonds, not even a Farfisa. I do have an old Casiotone, and a vintage 70s something-or-other that doesn't even have a name.

Thanks! Recovery Effects is an effects maker in Seattle: Recovery Effects And Devices I pretty much used his stuff exclusively for the last couple years because they're probably the most organic sounding effects I'd ever heard. The only one of his I still have on my board is the Sister Tiger phaser, but on this track I was also using the Dead Session filter bank, the Cutting Room Floor delay, and the Dirty Murals delay/reverb. They all have a really warm character and seem to overdrive very easily in a really pleasant way. IMO they're a welcome entry to the pedal scene with all the heavily digital tweak-every-parameter stuff going on. Just have a good sound on their own, even if overall they're maybe a little warm for bass. That worked here because I just wanted to drench everything in a warm fuzzy blanket.

Oh, I did not need to see that!!! I've already got a Phantom Operator in my cart, just trying to decide between a Cutting Room Floor and a Bad Comrade before I hit "buy"

Did you end up with the Phantom Operator? I almost traded for one the other day but decided against it. That thing sounds like it'd be gnarly on bass, same with Bad Comrade. I tried the Sound Destruction Unit and it was true to its name pretty much obliterated anything in its path, and the Bad Comrade sounds even more chaotic than that. There's a really comical review on Reverb from a frustrated customer trying to figure out the Bad Comrade.
