american made fenders

... also guitars shown have truss rod access at headstock, while mine is at the heel... the letters 'US' prefixes the rest of the serial number. ...

... your magazine picture is from the 2006 Fender Frontline, which was put out at the beginning of '06 ... that's why it shows pics of 1's with headstock adjust truss rod ... the transition to Hwy ONE, took place mid year, which is common for Fender ...also ommitted from the text in ad/picture is an additional color offered with the transition, Flat Black ...

... you will find both Hwy 1's and Ones with serial #'s reflecting '06 production, and with the 60th Anniversary medallion on the back of the headstock ...

... I never grabbed one, but I am sure the 2007 Frontline will have accurate pics of the Hwy One (taken in the 2nd 1/2 of '06) as well as the accurate color names used in that run ... I believe the only color that they added (besides black) was a limited run of white ('07?)
