Is it possible that Jazz Bass American Standard 2008 came with a serial starting with „DZ”, indicating Deluxe serie?

That’s not a 2008 American standard, wrong tuners and bridge.

Thanks! It does not look like Deluxe either, any idea what that can be?

It looks a lot like a Squier Affinity to me.

But is it possible Squier would have a Fender JB head?

Stickers/decals are relatively easy to get.

I also don't think any American Fender has a truss rod adjustment on the headstock with the black plastic around the truss rod adjustment hole.

Here are the decals of my 2008 Deluxe Jazz. The DZ8 (Deluxe Zero eight) is printed in a different font than the other six digits. The front logo should be a “shiny” spaghetti logo.

    Keep searching! :)

  13. Squier Affinity was a good guess. All the decals and serial numbers on this one are fakes, and not especially good ones.

That is a fake, although I do happen to have an American Series passive Jazz with a Deluxe serial number. Limited run AIMM Special.

BTW - I was checking here: Fender Japan Catalog 1995 and it does not seem JB45 was sold in Japan in 1995 (neither in 94), can it be it was for export only, or maybe it is not JB45?
