Amp death?

Back in the day I was wondering the handling capacity of my solid state. I have an Ampeg BA-115- a 15'' 100 watt amp. In the day I had three boss pedals, EQ, Limiter, and Overdrive.

Is it possible to destroy your amp if you were to turn the volume to max on everything (I'm not planning on doing it btw)? It sounds silly, but I have no idea the types of loads these things can take. Does the fuse take care of issues like that? Or is that only from the wall socket power?

Experimention.......try it and see what happens. If you are successful and dont blow out anythig you may not like the sound you get anyway.

Any amp is capable of being killed, by doing exactly what you wrote. Balance is everything.

To answer your question, yes you can blow your amp by turning everything to maximum.

I used to crank my BA-115 all the way up (gain, tone knobs, and master) hoping it would explode. It never did, but man, it didn't like it.
