i-pod and (audio) isolation transformer and appropriate tracks (I make my own as needed) makes for a good source as well.

just got this,
nice sounding amp for 5 pounds!!!!!! Sounds good and plenty loud. I think the tone section was voiced for smaller speakers, but it sounds great flat!!!!! I have seen that power section in something else? ICE POWER, really nice for the ducks $$$$.

on most other amps with this power section states it will output 500 watts. on the fender it states 350? power supply difference? something?

The Aguilar TH350 states 350 watts and uses the same module. Really it all comes down to how "creative" the manufacturer is with the boundries set for the ratigns.

Behringer for instance rates all their amps at peak power for short term burst.

Aguilar and Fender IMO are the most true rated for that particular module. IME the ICE power 125asx module feels like an honest rated 200-250 watt class AB amp at 4 ohms.

i have a wt-300 and at 8 ohms the fender is a little more stout. but both sound great for three peace jazz or jam band stuff.

This is one of the reasons pros like the Foo Fighters have moved to Friedman Amps for a respectable new Marshall circuit.
