I don't think I've seen that before so I was just curious. I think the red makes it go faster.

Sadly I've seen a few really cheap import amps that looked very much like that inside. Sans screwdriver of course.
Surprisingly, it's not very noisy like this. In my basement anyway. I've pretty much settled on a design topology so I will be committing it all to PCBs shortly.

I didn't even remember that was in there. It's been there for months but the box hasn't moved in months either so it's all good. I've seen some "high end" gear that wasn't a whole lot better inside. You can be sure when I put it in a proper enclosure it will look neater than this.

Here is an amp I built for a buddy, I call it the buzzbomb. I have built 3 of them so far.
7591 power tubes and it's built into a 60's era Cordovox chassis using the Cordovox transformers.
High gain, super touch sensitive and great power tube breakup. It's about 25 watts in theory but I have not measured the power output.

That's a lot of big, heavy parts with long leads to be a bouncing around. You might want to be sure they are secure if you plan on transporting the amp IMO.
The big caps are light (metalized poly) and epoxied to the chassis. I remove the tubes and give the chassis three drops from 4 ft. to a thin carpet over concrete. Not quite the torture of a loading dock toss of six feet to concrete that a Canadian amp maker used to perform, but this chassis goes into a 40 x 18 x 11 inch cab which should help with both being less likely to be knocked over, and deceleration trauma.
