TRAYNOR Dynabass 400w. no fan, 12ax7 in preamp, compressor, parametric eq, best overdrive I heard, sound so good!

Hey, that looks eerily similar to the Yorkville XS400H! :) And yeah, it sure does sound good. The tube drive is really versatile with the separate gain, drive and blend.

These are not the reasons for failures in a Invalid Link Removed. It is my favourite preamp for a long time and I used it a lot of times. But there are two defects, which many other quadruples also have. The rectifier for the heating isnt the best one. Also the rotary switch for the "Quadrumatrix" is scrap.

Also, it's infested with "roaches"

...I count at least 11 opto-isolator LED/photocell units in there (the black shrinkwrapped bits with four legs).

I don't have anything helpful to contribute here, just couldn't resist a pun. When I saw the first one, I thought "Compressor?", then I saw the other ten...Just a game I play ogling the guts to guess the controls without looking at front/rear panels.

Taurus Cube 300 microamp. Pound for pound the loudest microamp I have ever owned ( and I have owned a few ;-) )

Holy rusty silicooties, Batman!

...As a toob-luvin bottlehead, dogma says anything above above 200W should be heavy enough to bend the path of nearby photons, but my lower vertebrae are jealous...

The real question is: does it fill a room with a unique aroma? I can ID any of my tube amps (while running) by smell.
