Amp on casters or not?

With Casters off I have 6 sq. ft. on the stage - You can feel the stage. ( Bare wood stage ) Casters on 4 pts on stage not so much.
Depends alot on the stage - I've played carpeted stages with no effect.
Acoustic coupling and mechanical coupling are not the same.

And if your cab is vibrating that much, it's not braced well enough. That's a waste of power.

Your mistaking physical coupling with acoustic coupling.

The bass is still fine in the audience even if you don't "feel" the stage anymore.
+1.

Exactly. And you really don't want that much mechanical coupling.

Referring to an old Acoustic cab - Folded horn 18' monster that presented all the above problems!
Small clubs were particularly challenging.
Have a GK neo410 today that you could balance a nickel on.

All the bigger cabs I've had have had casters, pop outs or fixed swivels but my current 410 has factory pop outs that swivel so if I'm on a dodgy stage or up on a wide chair or something similar I just put the cab on its side, that simple. It's a 24/24/16" cab with 1 brand logo I've gaffed over so no one notices, even the band. I always keep the cab 1-2 ft up off the floor anyway, I like the tone n wanna hear my gear n the pop out locking lugs wear out in time so I just leave em as is. Too easy.
