Ampeg B-50 (not R)

Some one semi-locally is trying to move an Ampeg B-50 (not a Rocket). Looks like it is from the early 80's. I am either looking in the wrong place, or there is limited info on these online. Can anyone give me there take on these amps? How do they sound? I assume they are heavy.

If I were to pick it up, it would be to leave at a drummers house to make rhythm section practice that much easier. Maybe able to get it for $100.

It's a transistor amp. Not a traditional Ampeg tone circuit, more Fender. Early to mid 80's. 50W. 15" speaker. Try it and see how it sounds.
