Do you have one on the way? There was an almost 40 day back log earlier. Just a word of caution if you're flipping it without it in hand.

I'll betcha the back orders have eased greatly in the last few hours, but that's a good point.

I put in one new and one used thinking maybe the used one would slip though. It shows the new cancelled (like everyone else) and the used shipped but the tracking number is currently not showing as valid in the UPS system :eek: hmmm... sometimes it takes a bit for the tracking number to show so we shall see....

I'm too hot where I am working right now to bother lookign up and citing a bunch of leagle-ese CDN websites, but the above is a reasonable approach.

Seriously though, I cant imagine any retailer being forced to honour a clear mistake. Totally unresonable.

The only way I can see any retailer being forced to, is when it can be demonstrated, that there was something intentionally bogus going on. A real Bait and switch for example. And even then, you would be obligated to prove that, that is the case.
As in most western justice systems, Innocent until proven otherwise.

I just know since I ordered one 2 seconds after the thread was started that they're probably working backwards through the list of orders to cancel them and I'll be like the last one to get cancelled after building up the most hope. So cruel, hahaha

They canceled my order, got notification through email a bit ago......I always thought if they advertised a price, they had to back it up. At least for all that orderded before it was made obvious they goofed. Shoulda got it overnight shiped.

I remember being in Kansas city...the MF warehouse is located there....

Look at it this way - it was fun while it lasted! However, there SHOULD be a policy in place to ensure that this never happens again.

I ALSO recall a particular store whose policy was - If the product is marked incorrectly, we will sell it at that price..

By the time I got to this thread yesterday it was removed :(. I wish someone would have told me this was on sale. I normally don't check the amp boards since I'm happy with mine but I could always use a back up or sell it later. oh Well maybe I'll catch it next time.
