Lame. I was just about to order another one. Initial plan was to sell the one I got but the idea of a $50 backup was to cool to pass up. Oh well. Good news is I got the backorder email and it looks like they're in the process of taking the $50 out of my account.

If you go to MF's clearance page for Ampeg, it comes up with $599.99. Otherwise, it is $46.95. Very odd.

Well... I got my tracking number. I don't know if that means that I'm home free. We're all in the same boat.
The funny thing is, with all those bad reviews, I feel like I'd be getting a piece of junk for $50! Hey, gimme a refund!

I thought it was one of their blowouts, so I ordered one. Looks like it was a mistake so I emailed them to ask them to cancel. If it's just a mistake, I don't want it. If it's a legit blowout, definitely want. But they told me that I would have to contact the store where I ordered to cancel.

I tried... I'm sure they'll cancel the orders shortly.

I'm in it as well....maybe we will all get lucky and get em....but I doubt it, no company will want to loose that much money just to keep us all happy with them, they did have a change of price disclaimer.....

Well if they hold it on back-order for a month BEFORE the turn the deal down, Quick way of having a loan from us without having to pay interest! I wonder how many of us and others bit on this one. I'm Totally holding out to see what happens.

I got a back order notice as well...hopefully I'll be getting 3 boxes from MF soon.....I'm hanging on, though, it's not much more than 3 tanks of gas for me.
