I got a confirmation email as well....I really don't think I'll get this ampeg for $46 but if I do It'll make a great backup. I'll be able to tell all my friends that I was one of the first "rushers" in The Great Ampeg Rush of 2010!!
I just checked Sam Ash, Zzounds, and Music 123...all three only have these in B stock from $420-$599.

Nope. I did a little research and it looks like there may have been a batch made in 2008 or so with bad solder connections, which look like the basis of most of the bad reviews.

Do you know when Ampeg/LOUD switched on the Vietnam factory? I'm hazarding a guess this was a) one of the first batches made there or b) the first RoHS batch made there.

Even if they don't follow through with the mistaken price on these, It's nice to know I caused some pointless chaos over at the musicians friend warehouse . Even if these are faulty, it's still a good price for something a lot of people can repair themselves.
