Honestly don't know. Since there is no BA series extension cab. I was told the PF cab would be the closest match. It's been decent overall.

I have a BA 210 and was considering mounting it horizontally (in the wedge position) on top of another horizontal 2x10 cab. Is that BA pretty stable on the PF cab? Any overhang and/or wobbly motions? Thanks for your info!

Mine sits on there perfectly. It's exactly the size it needs to be. It's actually very stable as long as the surface is flat. It is a little top heavy but it's not a problem.

I've got my 210v2 on an acoustic 115mkii. Havnt had chance to push it yet. If I could afford I had been looking at a svt15e as a good compaion option before the

acoustic 115 went clearance at gc.

BFT, still haven't gotten to play a BA210 yet. But all their amps sort of sound similar to a degree. Whether or not that degree is workable for you or not, I don't know

Personally, I prefer their 10"s cabs because the PF115's go a little low for my tastes, but my tastes aren't everyone's

I love the tone of the BA112. It has a perfect combination of taut traditional Ampeg cab tone like you get with 10's and a little touch of bigger cone feel.
The BA210 however is a lot different. It has a big, low mid woofy tone. Not traditional Ampeg 10" speaker feel or response.imo
I was hoping for a higher powered option to the tone I was getting out of the BA112.

Hmmm...in that case it sounds like it would, indeed be a good match to the PF210he, as that's pretty much what it sounds like to me as well.

I recently picked up the SCR DI and I'm running that in front of my BA210V2 now. I think the 210 sounds pretty ampeggy already but the DI makes it even more so. I'm still trying to find the perfect setting but it defintely adds a tube like quality.

The amp/pre do a great job at the upper mid Ampeg tone that makes you heard in a mix.
Even without the Scrambler I was able to dial up a nice SVT 7-Pro biting sound which I love about the 7Pro. I find setting the BA combos Mid control just past noon, to say 6-7 gets me there. Probably not quite tubey but nice Ampeg grinD. All the controls were very responsive. Think I'm going to pick up a BA112 v2.

I was thinking of grabbing one of these and kicking it as a wedge infront of me, then running my bass in the normal channel and running a monitor out line from my board to the aux in to have an additional vocal monitor on stage. I'm hoping this would work well is that scenario.

I use mine with a mixer and an ext. speaker as a pa at a weekly gig - and it sounds great - crystal clear and smooth. I think the aux in only sounds through headphones though - so you would have to plug into the mixer.

Ugh, really??? That sucks! Would defeat the purpose of what I was trying to achieve with the amp. Can anyone confirm this? Aux in only come out the headphone and not the main speaker.

Aux only comes through headphones in the other BA amps, so it probably works that way in the 210, too.

Dang Felix, wish I'd have read the manual or tried it without headphones before speaking Apparently I was wrong before. It does say in the manual that the aux comes through the speakers. My apologies for talking out my butt!

Well - I just triple checked. The online manual on Ampeg's website implies that you need headphones to hear the Aux input (at least the way I interpreted the wording). My hard copy is different then the online copy and does not specify one way or the other. I just physically checked and the Aux input DOES sound through the combo's built in speakers.

I am sorry I did not realize this sooner - I had read on here somewhere that the Aux signal only comes out of the headphones (or am I thinking of the PF series?) - and I only double checked on the online manual when the subject came up recently.

I use my BA210 so much that when I am not at a gig, I leave it strapped to a dolly - with it's cover on - and with other gear stacked on top - otherwise I would have just physically tried it from the beginning - instead of opting for the online manual for confirmation.
