Well...
I ended up going to GC in Kalamazoo and got the PF-500 head and the PF-210HE Cab.
I used it tonight in the church we are ministering at and it sounded "AWESOME"!!!
Thank you for all your comments and suggestions!
Very happy with it!

PF115h Update - Outdoor gig got rained out after 45 minutes, but first impression is favorable. I prefer the sound of this cab over my Avatar boxes - tighter and punchier, nice and round with nice tight low end all the way down to the low B. Pretty surprising considering it's size. Very good midrange. Tweet was set at zero, but the bass I was using has flats on it, so prolly not much up there anyway. I'll try my rounds bass tonight - smaller club, indoors. I really like it. Round sound!

I may just have to get a second one.

PLEASE GIVE ME AN OPINION!!!

My local GC has a PF210 that I played and love the sound. With sales this weekend the price is right. I just wonder if it will be enough coupled with my PF500 to drive a typical bar/club weekend warrior gig with no PA support.

Thoughts?

I like your odds. I guess it depends on how loud the setting and band is...

Plan B could be add a second cab later...

Me too... Got two on order...

tested the pf-350 and 500 with the 2x10 at my local GC today...sounded nice, but lacked that 15 umph, as someone above mentioned. The compressor on the 500 is surprisingly nice!

The store did not have the 15, or a pf-500 in a box, so i order online (from within the store), with the salesman's assurance I get it by thursday (i have a gig friday that i need to take a walk on ferry (weight limitations), and the room is small)....only to come home to the dreaded back order email....

my back is killing me from hauling around my 410HE (sometimes two of em) with my microtech 1200...so hopefully this new combo will be better for the smaller gigs, and my aching old man back.

thanks to all in this thread...really helps making decisions. no will someone please buy my 84 foundation to help me fund this new purchase!

I don't think a speaker cable is usually included with the cabs or heads. No cable came with mine. But then again, I'm in Canada and we don't get a lot of free candies here. Only the head mounting screws and washers and the 4 casters in an Ampeg bag velcroed onto the inner bottom side of the cab. I asked the sales guy to include a cable since I bought a floor model that didn't come with the original box, which he did.

I'll never say this enough but these cabs are very well built. After a little over 2 months already, I'm very satisfied with my purchase.
