Thanks man. I haven't ran any pedals into it yet. But, I willThat’s awesome!! You’re a great player! Keep them coming!!
Well, I got the RB-115. Really nice with the Jazz bass; (love your sunburst J- @JeezyMcNuggles) EQ flat; no SGT, and Ultra-high engaged!!
Tonight, however, I pulled out a few more stops- hooked the Dapper Bass DI box into effects loop- thusly-

Kept the EQ on amp flat- SGT on halfway, level to match volume.
Dapper premamp and boost/comp on- boost at 9:00, compression at noon. Preamp gain at 10:30, volume 10:00, bass, mid, treble just a touch- at 12:30. Tuner worked great!!- here is is without the carnival midway treatment

WOW!! That SGT circuit is magic!! Lots of useful, subtle “hair” possible; and all the way up?? If that’s not enough hair- plug yer fuzz box into the effects loop!!
The Dapper preamp is great- gets a bit of SVT overlay onto the B-15 character. It’s a very good “fly rig” amp/DI for this alone- the rest is just, well FUN
The boost gives a bit of heat to the signal; like a “Spark”, it’s a 12db boost. This combined with a rather straightforward one knob compression yields a nice, SVT, vintage thing.
The Rocket Bass 15” Eminence speaker is Great!!! lt will get better when I can get a few more hours on it. I’m glad I got this one-
I have a 210 cabinet I can pair with this- That will be reported on as well!![]()
Yo, I just had a real studio run with this guy. Di. Played, re amped, adjusted, leveled. This thing is a killer little studio rig.
Speakers or headphones. Dub bass
I tried the 12” myself. I kinda feel the same about the SGT drive it’s not my favorite but to be fair I didn’t mess with it very long. The overall tone of the amp is true “ampeg” tone to my ears tho. I will be getting one.An RB110 showed up in my local music store. It sounded good with the Tagima Jazz bass, and handled the low B on a Yamaha BB235 without breaking a sweat. I didn't care for the SGT drive circuit at all.

Interesting - on my RB112, I use the SGT always on, Level all the way up, Grit set straight to the left, 9 O'clock. Bump one notch of treble, cut 1/2 notch of bass.An RB110 showed up in my local music store. Cool I’ll try those settings when I pick one up. Thanks for the input, again to be fair it was guitar center I always feel a little weird/awkward myself cranking up an amp and going to town lol.Interesting - on my RB112, I use the SGT always on, Level all the way up, Grit set straight to the left, 9 O'clock. Sure, certain applications will require that I disengage it, but engaged as described is go-to 'my' sound.
At the low Grit setting it's reminiscent of the bit of kick and growl you'd get from the 'Boost' knob of the GK 400RB head if you're familiar with that.Cool I’ll try those settings when I pick one up. I had a little GK backline head and matching 4x10 cab back when I first started playing. Haven’t touched GK stuff since then. I’m not familiar. At the low Grit setting it's reminiscent of the bit of kick and growl you'd get from the 'Boost' knob of the GK 400RB head if you're familiar with that.
Way better. Re qued it.
Well, my beta 52's showing up today. I'll probably do one more video. Then, I'm passing the torch.
Stay Funky My Friends.

Yeah, now it is way better. Very nice bassline too
Mine RB arrived today and I felt in love at first moment when I plugged in and hear how it soundsThe tone is really Ampegish, full and warm, EQ is very efficient and the SGT is so nice to my ears
I only played for a few minutes, but I can already say that I've never been so pleased with such a small combo
Maybe I'll tell you a more in time
Greetings![]()
etnoo, welcome! Which combo did ya buy? Glad you like it. If ya can, take a picture of your new combo and find us at the Combo club. Post it and I'll give you a membership number. You can join the rising number of new Rocket Bass owners. Again, congratulations!
It gets betterJust got my 112 as well today! Sounds pretty amazing! View attachment 4334728View attachment 4334729
I like the fact all 100w go into the internal speaker on the 112. The 115 would be better if you didn't need an extension to get all 200w. Even 150w internally would be cool for the 115, but 100w makes me prefer the 112.Sweet vibe, Jeezy! You've given the rest of us great examples of what the 112 can do, particularly in a studio setting. While I think the entire line will be successful, I have to believe it'll be the 112 that leads in sales and positive reviews. For its price point and feature set, you can't beat it. That doesn't mean I might not want the 115 at some point but for right now I couldn't be happier. Again, great work!
