Ampeg SVT-CL question

Is the bal. out the same signal as the preamp out? Whats the difference in the slave out and the preamp out jack?

Balanced out is a lower level for use as a DI.

It is derived from the power amp in/slave out, so it will have effects, anything in the loop, etc, on it.

What I'm really getting at is: Is there a way to get a signal of your SVT with the power tubes in the mix sent to the board (PA)? Is that what the bal out does? or do you have to mic the speakers to do this? Would the power tubes in the mix make it sound more characteristic of the ampeg SVT?

Also, if there are 2 speakers plugged into the head will it send 150 watts to each?
