Amusing fantasy band line ups

Mitch Mitchel could be on drums too.

... and Stevie Stephens (Billy Idol) on guitar as well.

Yep, "TSOUP" would have a cool acronym as well as a cool sound.

Here's my entry: "Bring the Earplugs"

John Zorn - saxophone (Naked City, etc.)
Reeves Gabrels - guitar (Tin Machine, etc.)
John Cale - piano, viola, vocals (Velvet Underground, etc.)
Les Claypool - bass ([Invalid or Expired Link Removed])
John Bonham - drums (Led Zeppelin)

... and get Don Van Vliet (Captain Beefheart) as a lyricist w/Cale.

I'm thinking you might get a usable track or two out of that group if they were produced by... Brian Eno?

I'd make a superhero/tv-show band!

Bass - The Comicbook Guy from the Simpsons - he just fits the bassplayer stereotypes so damn well.
Guitar - John Petrucci. He is a superhero!
Guitar - Batman! He is cool. Batman with an ESP SV. Hell yeah!
Drums - Hello Kitty. She'd go nuts behind that drumset man! Imagine the heavy double bass.
Vocals - Tough one. Though I think I'd end up with TinTin. You know that guy from the french TV-show when we were kids? Him with a Muse-like voice. Awesome!
