An Aguilar Legend... Reimagined

My bet is a 751 with class D power.
Considering the competition's offerings (Mesa D-800 | Darkglass 900 | Steamhammer 500 etc...), the Icepower 700ASX module and the Deep switch on the pic, I'd bet on a class D hybrid between the TH and DB amps. So something like a DB 700-800.
And if that's the case.... A 700-800W class D amp from Aguilar would probably be just perfect with the new Berg NV 212T.

I seriously dig the 751. One of my favorite amps ever. But it is just too heavy and big and brutally loud for anything I do now. A class D with the oomph of a Mesa D800 with the DB751 preamp at a more affordable price would get me to buy.
Everything in the image looks like the AG500 so 're-imagined' could be to take it down to the size of the TH500. Certainly interested if it is. Just sure it would be obscene pricing in the U.K. For whatever it is right now

I love the Aggie tone. Used the DB 750 as my main amp for seven years, but weight and size got so annoying that I just had to sell it.
My TH 500 is a great amp for small and medium gigs, but it runs out of steam when things get louder and serious headroom is needed.
An amp with the DB preamp, its oomph but slightly quicker in the lows and somewhere around 30 lbs or less would be ... DAMN!!
I'm in the market for a new, more powerful amp and have my eyes on the new Glockenklang Steamhamster ... err ...hammer.
Aggie folks, make this new thing affordable and I'm in.
Please let it be some kind of DB + Class D hybrid.

I like my TH500, but do feel like it can run out of juice when you are really pushing it. I've flirted with the DB 751 (actually owned a DB750 for a minuet), but the size / weight has kept me away.

The db751 is a legendary piece of gear by anyone standards. My only complaint would be its power, just ridiculously huge. I crank my gain a lot, so that makes controlling the volume knob quite difficult, since the slightest touch makes the monster arise. I'd love DB500 as I don't think the th500 tone is as solid and full as the DB series. Just my opinion.
Was hoping for something with glass and fire...
Better than the tonehammer but, meh. 700watt class d with a db659 preamp would have been alot more tempting.

The AG500 only weighed 18lbs in the first place. I guess their selling point is that it's going from 500w to 700w and losing like 12ish lbs in the process?
