Time will tell if it grows on me melodically, I'm not sure they will, it's like one symphony with many parts, but who knows? I look forward to anything they do next. Recently Buke and Gase released some stuff for a documentary on them, I haven't heard them in many years, and even though they are inventing their idiom And instruments, it holds up melodically.

Good for a while, in it's own way, but not the lane I tend to be in these days. And I'm the guy that back in my youth when my age cohort would've identified most with say Led Zeppelin, was into Zappa, Beefheart, Sun Ra, you get the picture.

Now my 74 yr old brother really likes this video! We're a weird family.

It's the first time I see a bass with quarter tones…

I caught like 20 seconds and over different places and admire that they they are taking a chance and trying something different.

With that being said, the gimmick, doesnt work for me and 99% of them don't.
It not my thing at all, but none the less I sulute them.

I've listened to much middle Eastern music, both singing and playing, that features quarter tone scales, and it is beautiful and eerie. This stuff just sounds smeary and indistinct. My ears got tired after the first song or so.

Unique, yes, odd, yes. Beautiful? No.
IMO, etc.

Yeah... And the pickups might be emg. Would like to know if they use in ears with a click and if all the looping us done man(or foot-)ually or with dome kind of trigger. If not it's really tight work....
