All, wow cant believe this is the first im seeing of this club. I love to play along to cowboy bebop tunes, FLCL, Samurai Champloo, and music from Serial Experiments Lain, thats an awesome band actually, check out Boa, if u can find it, since google searches seem to only bring up the K-pop singer called Boa. Although I must say I've got more video game music I jam to(I say that cuz I lump anime and game music in the same folder in my mp3 player), like the themes from silent hill, kingdom hearts, final fantasy, ZOE 2, and chrono cross to name a few, wonder if theres a club for that, lol.

I dont know, I think a lotta the music is tracks from the band Boa's album Twilight but I could be way off base, its been forever since I watched that show.

Ok, a quick search tells me there a lot more than just boa tracks, check out the Lain soundtracks on amazon, I think it lets you sample the tracks there.

Last night my band played a set of anime and J-Rock covers live. The anime songs were Fuwa Fuwa Time (K-on), Again (FMA), Uragiri no Yuuyake (Durarara), Driver's High (GTO), Drink it down (DMC4... okay this isn't an anime =/) and Daybreak's Bell (Gundam 00).

Just wondering: is it a requirement to like/be able to play anime themesongs? Cause while I like anime a lot, I can't stand J-Rock/-Pop for some reason.

Hi, I like anime and anime music. I'm new to playing bass but it's certainly very fun to learn anime songs.

My favourite shows are probably Haibane Renmei, Simoun, and Now and Then, Here and There; I'm definitely a fan of the more unconventional ones.

I don't think so. Actually I don't like "most" J-pop either and I hardly ever play along with themes, but I watch way too much anime...
