I actually do anime bass covers, so if anyone's interested on those, go here. I've done Bleach, Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei, and others, and plan on doing K-ON! once I perfect Cagayake!GIRLS (still need to improve on the slap line and the whole bridge section).

K-On is awesome.

Cagayake! GIRLS has one of the sweetest basslines I've ever heard in an anime OP. Learning that one right now, but without the slap (sounds terrible with flats).

Keroro Gunsou has some really nice songs as well. The endings are funk songs most of the time (well, I've only watched the first 2 seasons so far)

I have an Anime band here in Chile and well... one of the bandmates (one of the guitarists) doesn't wanna be recognized when playing with us. I don't get his paranoia, but that only makes him more funny

So.. I finally got around to watching all of K-ON... I like it better now then I did the first time around, same with the music. It brought up a bunch of memories of when I first started playing for some reason...

My favorite opener ATM is this I have been having fun coping the "bass" sound with a moog freq-box.

Anime and Bass are my two biggest hobbies, they constantly battle for my $$$ and time.

I blame FLCL for rekindling my interest in bass after years away from it.

Definatly BECK is at the top of the list for me. I love the line in "Spice of Life", same with the Seinfeldish interlude.

The second opening of Code Geass has something I love that is either distorted bass or guitar...

Haha...my current anime folder is 500 gigs...thats just this year...kinda sad how much i watch...but at least it introduced me to a lotta cool j-rock. Can't wait for my trip to japan this summer..I want to hit up a concert.

I'm really digging Abingdon Boys School lately...known for OP1 for D.Grayman and OP for Darker than Black...both of which I would love to cover.

I wouldnt mind learning the OP to lucky star for S--ts and Giggles.
