I haven't seen any mention of a vice moderator on your ticket but have noticed Maki's endorsement. Could this be a Maki plan to set you up as a "puppet moderator" while pulling your strings (or slapping them) to first take over TB....and THEN THE WORLD????!!!

I appreciate your input. I think, however, that you are conscious that my depicting of a crowd of islamist protesters, rendered by a Canadian mind, has brought you the support of many other countries.

And before you go and say that mike_v_s was courting my vote when he gave me and my girlfriend a blimp ride the day before her big Victoria's Secret runway show, I have to tell you that he hadn't even considered running for moderator at that point. In fact, he laughed at me for even suggesting the idea. But now all of OT is laughing. Laughing their way towards change.

As I stated in post #21, I neither support nor oppose the ascension of mike_v_s to lofty Mod status. However, in the interest of fair and open disclosure, the following points require clarification:

  1. Is this vote an "either/or"? Is a loss in this race cause for the incumbent to be ousted? Is a victory in this race by the challenger a guarantee of Mod classification?
  2. What exactly does the qualifier "for all the right reasons" in the challengers click button mean?
  3. Does string count play any part in the ancillary vote tabulations?
  4. In the event the challenger prevails, is Mod status granted for all of the incumbents current forums? Or just OT?
  5. Is a win a win? IOW, if the challenger garners 30 votes and the incumbent 29, is that sufficient to have m_v_s elevated to Mod status?
  6. Has any cash money passed hands? If so, where is my chunk?
  7. If the challenger wins, does that mean a guaranteed "adjustable font" day will be instituted? If so, what is the exact day?
  8. Does the blimpability of the candidates unfairly influence voter mindset?
I have no vested interest in this race, however, I do believe in the concept of clean elections.

I am also a firm believer in the concept of payola, particularly when I am a potential recipient :ninja: ..... oh yeah, old PointBass can be bought ....
