Annoying things that tipsy people do at gigs...

87756D4D-3249-4ABB-B15C-B5F191D6A178.jpeg I am pretty easy going and don’t even mind hugs from the occasional drunk guy but lately for whatever reason girls have started coming up to me on breaks and while complimenting the band they start playing with my hair ...it’s happened several times as of late and frankly it’s kinda creepy lol...I think I may take breaks away from the crowd for awhile ;-)
(Inserted pic for reference lol) What do you find annoying?

played an outdoor halloween party friday. We were up on 2 tow trucks parked next to each other. While we were setting up, some girl told us that she sang "what's up?" with us at another show a few years ago, and for whatever reason, when we did it, our singer invited her up. She was terrible enough, but some other girl showed up out of nowhere (I guess she climbed the ladder next to me?) and jumped on my mic and started singing. She was horrible. I turned my in-ears off for that song. It was the last song of the set, and on set 2, I pulled the ladder up behind me.

Overly "friendly" people are annoying whether drunk or sober.

Seems you are well within your rights to be a little creeped out with people touching your hair. That's kind of like back in the days when my wife was pregnant and people would rub her belly? WTH?

This past Friday I was getting hugs around the shoulders by a big drunk dude after our last set. He was a nice guy, really dug the band and was having a great time, but it was a bit much for me. And, he drank a ton of rum & cokes, so every time he spoke I had to keep from wincing from his rum breath. Same night, had a drunk girl chatting me up outside before the first set, when she found out I was one of the musicians she got a little too interested and followed me around for a few minutes........until I found the table my wife was sitting at. Drunk girl quickly changed course and I didn't see her again LOL

Those who shout "play Irish mooshick" and when you do, demand you play a "rebel shong." Argh. On the other hand, I've been flashed by intoxicated ladies while playing Mustang Sally, so everything evens out.

But a question for @donkeygrl, is it normal for drunk women to play with a strange woman's hair? That's kinda weird. Being a bald guy, it's no issue, but if they kept rubbing my head for luck I'd get peeved.

It is weird! That’s why I’m creeped out hehe! And I have been in my current band since 2002 so I have seen a lot and experienced a lot but this hair thing just started happening in the past couple months so I’m kinda like ***? Lol...
