Another P vs. J analogy!

The gingham dog and the calico cat
Side by side on the table sat;
'T was half-past twelve, and (what do you think!)
Nor one nor t' other had slept a wink!
The old Dutch clock and the Chinese plate
Appeared to know as sure as fate
There was going to be a terrible spat.
(I was n't there; I simply state
What was told to me by the Chinese plate!)

The gingham dog went "Bow-wow-wow!"
And the calico cat replied "Mee-ow!"
The air was littered, an hour or so,
With bits of gingham and calico,
While the old Dutch clock in the chimney-place
Up with its hands before its face,
For it always dreaded a family row!
(Now mind: I'm only telling you
What the old Dutch clock declares is true!)

The Chinese plate looked very blue,
And wailed, "Oh, dear! what shall we do!"
But the gingham dog and the calico cat
Wallowed this way and tumbled that,
Employing every tooth and claw
In the awfullest way you ever saw—
And, oh! how the gingham and calico flew!
(Don't fancy I exaggerate—
I got my news from the Chinese plate!)

Next morning, where the two had sat
They found no trace of dog or cat;
And some folks think unto this day
That burglars stole that pair away!
But the truth about the cat and pup
Is this: they ate each other up!
Now what do you really think of that!
(The old Dutch clock it told me so,
And that is how I came to know.)

I came up with this genius one this morning :
Ps are dogs, and Js are cats!
Dogs are always there for you. Cats are more mysterious and fickle.
Cats are for people who like subtlety and a certain sleek aloofness. Dogs are for people who appreciate having a faithful friend who always greets you happily and honestly when you get home, no matter how long you've been away, or what time of day it is.
If you need someone to jump through a glass door and drag you out of a burning building, you need a dog, not a cat.
If you're hosting the Queen of England at your house, and want to impress, you need a cat (a beautifully groomed Persian, wearing a diamond encrusted collar and lounging on a purple satin cushion), not a dog.
Whaddaya think?? Make sense? :)
No.

Yeah, I've noticed the boomerness/haughtiness around TB lately. You're in the company of grumpy old farts dude, what can I say? Roll with the punches. I appreciate your analogy. I think it needs tinkering, but I dig it haha.

So if "boomer" is a slam, you'll have to try harder than that.

Us guys who have been around a little longer than you guys are of the opinion that you guys think way too much.

Ps and Js are both dogs, but different kinds of dogs. A P is a working dog, like a farm dog, out in the dirt and the rain. A J is more of an inside dog, used to a more refined, pampered existence. unless you pull all it's ribs out with a spoon.

PJs are clothes you sleep in. An MM is a measurement that's approximately 0.04 of an inch. A soap bar is something you wash yourself with, although a lot of people seem to be moving to liquid body wash these days.
