Another reason why I'm NEVER getting married!

This is NOT a marijuana debate thread. This is a women-are-F-ing-insane thread. Keep it that way.


My neighbor across the street got remarried about 4 years ago. His second wife had teenage kids, a son and daughter. About 3 months ago, he caught her smoking pot with her kids. Openly.

Kicked her out.

Couple months later, he lets her back in.

A few weekends ago, he discovered a few huge bongs in the basement. Kicked her out again, started the divorce process.

My brother went over there Friday to help him out with his computer. Turns out, the bitch and the kids EMPTIED his house. All his cool **** is gone. His computer problem is he can't get onto the internet. Why? Cuz the bastard children took the power supply for his cable modem!

Apparently, this druggie bitch is getting all kinds of stuff from the divorce proceedings. It seems that judges don't care about punishing a dope head bitch and her bad influences on her kids, and feels that she should walk away from this rich as hell, and leave the innocent guy screwed. She got the BMW and the computers he bought for the kids, and a HUGE settlement.

He told my brother, "You know how it's three strikes and you're out? Forget it. TWO strikes. I'll never get married again."


It's truly amazing what some people can get away with in this world today. She's a liar and a druggie and a crap parent, but she gets to rip him off like a burglar. Good going, American Judicial System.

Don't worry about it being an American thing. We cop exactly the same thing here and just as bad as you described. And women wonder why guys don't want to commit. It's like wearing a t-shirt of a gator with blood all over it's teeth and a caption saying "trust me".

You guys are not alone. I'm all for pre-nups at least for the first so many years. If they have the right intentions they should be fine with it.

Women are PROFESSIONAL LIARS. I dunno how, but she hid this well for a few years. We're not sure if she picked this up as her kids got into the pot scene in high school, or if she's been a stoner for years, or whatever the truth is. But if your husband says "Drop the pot or I kick you out" you should probably listen. Oh wait! I forgot! If she gets kicked out, she'll get RICH off his ass! Well, why bother? :scowl::scowl::scowl::mad::mad::mad:

How about this one, guy marries this chic. Has 2 kids. One about 8 and the other about 12. Cheats on him. Leaves him and agrees to only take 70% of the house. 50% custody of the kids but he still has to pay her enough money that he almost can't pay the mortgage. She decides later that she can't look after the kids at all so he takes them 100%. He STILL has to pay her!

I don't get it. I'm all for fathers taking care of their kids but the exploitation that women can do and get backed by our laws it totally unbelievable. Over here there is a high suicide rate for single fathers because of this so i'm told.

Totally stinks.

No toothbrushes or hygiene products in the bathroom cabinet until the pre nup is signed and witnessed!

But we do have to remember, it's not ALL women.

Personally I think a line like "Drop the pot or I kick you out" is not at all what good partner should say. Did he try to get her help? Did he talk to her friends to get them to try and intervene? or did he just kick her out?

Trust, honesty, forgiveness, compassion, empathy. These are all important charateristics of a successful relationship. Sounds like your friend/neighbour had very few of these in either direction.

no but we do live in a matriarchal society where in a divorce proceeding the cards are stacked against the males. you all need to read a book called THE PREDATORY FEMALE. it will explane the divorce judicial system to you wuite well. will scare the crap out of you also.

Just because she smokes she is a "druggie Bitch"? thats very judgemental of you. I don't agree with her smoking with her kids but it also does not make her a bad parent. I know quite a few people who's parents smoked with them and they turned into very well adjusted normal people.

getting a divorce because someone smokes pot seems a little extreme to me.

would you get a divorce if she was drinking with them? or smokeing a cigarette with them? those are both drugs.

Ps: chances are her teenage children where and will smoke pot outside of the house without her influence.

If you are going to let the things that happen to other people affect your getting married then I say, don't ever get married.

Everyone is different. Now, if your post was "I'm not going to marry THAT GIRL" then I'd say that's a smart decision.

I'm sure there's more to that story than you know, and it's easy to paint someone as the bad guy.

My brother (on his third marriage), owned a house for 7 years before he got married to his second wife. They last maybe two years, divorce and she gets half of everything. She did not put a dime into the house, retirement plan etc. What's worse is she was cheating on him!

he ended up having to give up half of everything.

my cousin's wife divorced him for a drug dealer, he moved in, he supports both of them and their kid with his alimony!

Why get married or a job when you both live off the Ex?

It's a crazy system we have

I dunno how these girls do it. I got divorced and he got the house, the truck and all the furniture. I got my bed, my clothes, 1/2 the credit card debt that wasn't mine and he still owes me $5000 from my retirement fund which he cashed because it was in both of our names. The only cool thing I got was the china, partly because he'd never use it, and also I told him "You can keep it if you tell me what it looks like!"

I'm still in debt. *sigh*
