Any Colorado Bassists?

I haven't played any gigs yet because I haven't found a group with similar influences as me yet, but there are A LOT of really really baaaaaaad bands in the Loveland/Fort Collins area that are just terrible, but they are super popular; take these guys for example: Link Removed
Eventually I think some good musicians will find me or I will find them.

I live in western Littleton.

Double post ... this one has a link and a picture.

I live in Denver and that's usually where I play music as well. I've also played in the surrounding area, like Boulder and Littleton, a few times. I'm a recent transplant, I've been here for close to two years, and I like the area.

Check us out at Larimer Lounge on May 7th and/or June 18th if you're so inclined. I can hook you up with tickets for a cheaper cover as well.

Hearing the name of the places brings back a lot of memories... The nicest teen to adult times :)

I lived in Centennial and then Longmont, LOVE both place. Heck, I like every place in CO (yes... Even Boulder's hippies :hiding:)

FYI Kim Stone (Rippingtons, Spyrogyra, etc) lives in Arvada and teaches at Percussion Institute of Colorado, Co.Springs. Been a long time since the last time he came to my place in 2008.

Hope you guys are doing fine over there... Miss the mountains, trust me, they're much more beautiful than any high-rise building...

I am a transplant as well ... the local music scene is a little bit lame.

There seems to be a shortage of good bass players. Pretty much every band I audition or jam with has a bass amp there for me to use. I have never lived in an area where that happened before.
