I found this picture, and I’m wondering if any of y’all could let me know how to adjust it so the “return volume” is instead a wet/dry mix knob. When I get time I’ll make a new picture with a schematic…

there’s a few reasons why a passive blend is going to cause more problems than is worth.
You know when you build something and it’s amazing … so you build a few more to share the amazingness
Yep - used the barbershop ldss figures for the J201, no idea if it makes much difference but figured seeing it’s the same topology it wouldn’t hurt! Amazing pedal - somehow richer sounding at the same gain level than a barbershop.

When 10 pcb posted to your door costs the same as a nice pint in the pub there’s no real reason to have to bug fix vero! I still haven’t quite got a handle on a decent library for parts in KiCad - you might see that the resistors are too big for the space I had left for them -

Just finished this up. Not really a bass pedal as it sucks out to much low end but it is nice and sputtery and it’s fun to play with.
I have made one for our guitar player and he swears it’s never leaving his board.
It’s a PNP circuit and uses a +9v ground so I have a converter in there as well.
The only problem I have with polished enclosures is that it’s hard to get good pictures due to reflections.
I have learned how to do knurling in Fusion and printed my own knobs.
The bias knob is not part of the original circuit. It’s a very useful mod that someone came up with though.
Hopefully I’ll find a guitar player that would like to take it off my hands.

i just finished this one (a Greer Lightspeed clone with all top jacks & a relayed true bypass).
IMO, it's a great low to moderate overdrive for bass.

lately i've really been liking my FX25 clone with the LP/BP switch and a master volume.
on the one above, the volume control was added after i already built it without it, so i if i built another one i would've located it below range and sensitivity controls. it sounds like no other envelope filter that i have.
DeadEndFX Stretta compressor/limiter
This pedal has become my 2nd favorite DIY compressor. LectricFX ZircJr is still my favorite DIY comp for mild tone-fattening compression. The Stretta is better for fast comp/limiting. The thing both compressors have in common are charge pumps for extra headroom, an essential feature for bass guitar. Stretta has a threshold indicator LED that is very clear and intuitive to use, an uncommon feature on DIY compressors.
Pattern was painted free hand with a brush. Metallic purple swirls on top of a glossy purple base coat.

On one of my orders from Moonn, I kinda randomly grabbed 4 Devi PCBs for some sort of hommage noise maker pedal.
Fastforward a few months and here we are - behold the Devi4Ever brick of brutal sounds'n'noizes.
We have, following the signal in "standard mode" *** :
1. Ruby, vroom-vroom.
2. Stone, brrr-chak.
3. Destructo Octavia, oscillating and noisy signal destruction.
4. Weird Flex, which - with the 3 black toggle switches - should give you the following choices: Punch Love, Punch Hate, Silver Crank, Dark Boost or Karaoke Party
*** There are 3 order switches:
The first changes pairs: 1/2 <--> 3/4
Then one for each pair: 1<-->2 and 3<-->4
I tried to tame the Destructo a bit by replacing one of the MPSA18 with a 2N2222A, but that just altered the oscillation pitch a bit, I think. Well, it's supposed to be noisy and a good way to tame it, is to use it with another circuit.
Actually, turning all 4 circuits on sounds quite cool too.
And a DRONE MUFF - with some variation of the Drone Mods (as mentioned here).
We also have a clean blend, Tone and Scoop, clipping options in the first and second stage (si/none/LED) and a feedback potentiometer for the sustainer drone mode. There are 2 drone modes, the other one turns the pedal more or less into a drone/noise synth.
The layout of the PCB was for a 125B, with the option to put a Drone on/off toggle switch somewhere on the side .... really?!? Well, nope. I put the whole thing into a BB and wired the Drone on/off switch as a footswitch with an on/off LED.

just finished building this one for a TB member that wanted an single octave down OC-2 with a Boss CS-2 in a single enclosure. they play really nice with each other:
Back when I first got into pedal building, I built this one on stripboard. It never seemed to work right.
It has been awhile since I etched my own pcb so I figured I would give this one another chance.
First try and it fired right up with no issues. It sounds great and works unbelievably well on bass.

I used to build a ton (mostly between 2003 and 2015 or so), but over the past bunch of years I haven’t. I still have a ton of parts, from NOS germanium transistors to cc resistors to ic’s to pcb’s, enclosures, caps, the list goes on and on and on. I need to dig all that stuff out and sort it, maybe offer it up for sale. Or maybe it’ll give me the urge to build something ? Hmm….
Gonna sort through this stuff and probably offer some/all for sale. There isn’t really an appropriate classified forum here so maybe I’ll try the “parts and accessories “ forum in the classifieds ? There’s a ton of stuff here, thousands and thousands of parts ….
