FuzzDog Brassmaster partial kit
This effect has been on my GAS wishlist for over a decade and it didn't disappoint! Excellent octave fuzz that is more versatile than Ampeg Scambler and not as extreme as Prunes & Custard.
Ran into a problem with the drill template power jack location. Extended the leads on one electrolytic cap and a filed a lot of plastic off of the jack to make it fit.

FuzzDog Billowing Smoke
YATS with voltage doubler charge pump and diode clipping. LED clipping option has a nice smokey amp sound that I'm digging. Asymmetrical clipping is your typical screamer fair. No diodes option was clipping the opamps on E string, there isn't enough headroom to be useable as a clean preamp.
Painted 5-color woodland camouflage.

Coda Effects Black Hole. A Sunn Model T with a boost (LPB1) up front. I already have that on my board, together with a Life Pedal in one enclosure, aka DOOM MACHINE, so this one here might end up with my guitarist.

I wired the boost as always on and put its volume on the face of the pedal, as I like that better than Coda's setup (boost on a toggle, volume on a trimpot inside).

FuzzDog set #2 LM386-edition, more sunn content!
Sunn TAMZ. Simplified Sunn model T with AMZ tone controls. Painted straight black lines with twine by eye-balling it's angle and spacing over graph paper.
Frantone Peach Fuzz clone. Swapped TLC2262 for OPA2134. Kid painted and lettering. Looks like strawberry shortcake to me.
In a side-by-side matchup, Peach came out on top. Peach has a rich complex distortion tone and holds deep lows better than the Sunn.

FuzzDog set #3 EHX modulation edition
Bass Balls envelope filter clone with external 800Hz knob. Kinda mixed feeling about this not having an external 200Hz trimmer. Extra controls are always nice, but after tuning in a sweet spot on the trimmer and testing the pedal for awhile I didn't miss having it. After finding the sweet spot on the 800Hz control, it too could've been left as an internal trimmer. Painted this like a black Russian then added a colorful ball pit using the end of a wooden dowel.
Moon Phaser, OTA-based phaser in the same style as a Small Stone, but loaded with controls for fine tuning! This one gave me some troubleshooting headaches. At first there was no effect, only clean signal that would change slightly by turning all knobs except the rate control and speed switch did nothing. Oscillator wasn't oscillating. Probing for voltage showed high voltages on the oscillator OTA. Schematic directed me to the voltage divider resistors, where lo-n-behold, a 10K resistor was installed where a 220K belonged :banghead:. Problem solved! Pedal is working like a moon-lit dream now.
