Just watched this. Very sad in general. The pandemic hit a lot of people very hard, but it's eye-opening to realize that even players like Stu Hamm that have enjoyed higher profiles over the last 20 to 30 years had almost nothing to fall back on financially during 2020.
Sure. I don't know his personal situation of course but this counts for many professional musicians that rely on gigs, not only for Stu. Even more for less famous players. I think he has a lot to fall back on, teaching, online teaching, studio work, session gigs etc. Gigs are starting again now. I guess he could have as many students as he wants. I wish him all the luck!
