Any recommendations on a fretless tech in or around NYC. My Jazz Deluxe fingerboard needs some fine tuning. Looking to avoid the celebrity techs were the job can cost more than the bass, but I will pay a fair price.

Paul Nieto at GuitarTechNYC did some work on one of my fretless basses a few years ago that was seriously impressive. Have no idea whether he qualifies as a "celebrity" or how his rates compare, but he was honest, thorough, very professional, and meticulous.
