well, so far, i have converted my wife, my cousin Justin, a couple of people i work with, my little sister, a friend of my sister's, and my cousin has converted our uncle and his wife.

when i get taxes back i am getting small setups (ego/clearo) for mom and my step mom.

that's 10 people off tobacco ... besides me. now the FDA just needs to step back and leave us alone. between the nic shortages, cc processor dropouts, and the general fear of potential repercussions, i have a feeling our little hobby is going to be a mess in the coming year.

Carto tanks are my all day now. I like two ohm boge xl ... One in an ocd tank, which rocks, another in a smoktek 6ml dct tube.

I prefer prepunched boge from vaporgod, they have single 2.3mm holes that always wick and never flood ... I run mostly 60/40 blends.

I get between two and eight weeks out of a carto ... Keep them wet and they last longer. In volume, I would guess I get around 80ml through a carto before it totally craps out ...

No ... I rinse and dry burn my vivis every couple of weeks. Those are going on four months now ...

For the first two months, they were about fifty percent, down to maybe ten now.

They are repairable, but the only time I tried it, I hard shorted my 18650 ego head ...

i think my problem with the vivis are that i started on ce2 / t2 / stardusts ... and moved to the vivi when they came out.

my vivi wobbled real bad, the center pin was way too long for the twist i used it on, so i filed the post flush. it worked great, until that twist died. now, all the stuff i put it on, the draw is too tight. so, i have been using my genesis and my carto tanks more, and the boge 2Ω singles are a really open, airy draw. i seem to have adjusted to an open draw across the board.

I placed a couple orders on Wed... couple new bridgeless LR901 attys and some replacement [Invalid or Expired Link Removed] from Avid. With using one flavor on one mod all day every day, these last me a good 6 weeks before I'm ready for a fresh one (never had one die, but I can tell the resistance increases over time... and NOTHING beats 'new atty day' ). I did the math on your vivi's 4 months... it equates to 5 weeks of my atty life. But I think your volume of usage was significantly higher than mine... I am efficient in my juice usage and go through between .8 and 1.4ml daily.

My other order was a couple more 30ml bottles of my Invalid Link Removed... 100% VG, Double flavor strength, 6mg nic strength.

I'm getting real close to ordering a 3rd mini GLV2, I really have no desire to switch out to anything else, I always leave the house with a fresh 16340 AW IMR installed and a second charged one goes in my pocket just in case... I generally swap out batteries in the morning and after supper, rarely struggle with a device going dead on me. Though I have 2 mods now, I never carry them both... I put the new atty on the one I wasn't just using, blow the left over juice out of the other mod before I stick it in my vape box to rest for the month+. I just want one, because I want a 3rd color

i go thru about 6-8ml a day. also, i chain vape. an easy 3-4ml of that is in my genny though. 1.5Ω coil currently, rocking a linear dc 4.2v (none of that PWM crap) ... i can suck thru 2ml in that thing in an hour if i dont watch it.

fortunately, we are 95% DIY now, and soon to be 100%, cause i found a couple of tobacco flavors my wife likes. i just spent $45 on juice - and if my calculations are correct, i will get just over 550ml out of that. half of that cost was flavorings and shipping ... since there are cats and a kid around, i keep my nic at 36mg or below. WL was out of everything above 24 when i ordered last ...

that's just over $.08 per ml. and i really like single flavors ... overly complex juice burns my tastebuds out quickly. i can vape orange cream or green tea all day. oo ... and the TFA pomegranate is excellent @ 10% ...

i mixed up 240ml of juice at our normal 60/40 12mg ... minus the flavor. so now, 9ml of base, 1ml of flavor, shake, go. i have a couple of 30ml's of the all days, like OC, green tea, ry4, 555, etc ... and a ton of 5ml bottles of single flavors to drip. if i really like one, i will put a needle top on it, and fill the genny. that way i can top off at work before i come home.

We gone 'round on this before... my GLV is in my hand from the moment I wake and the last thing I do before passing out is take a pull. I just cannot fathom hitting 5ml in a day let alone 8ml! I think I would need to go DIY if I vaped your quantity.

tk and James: have you guys checked out the co-ops on other sites? James, you could probably find one of the Health Cabin co-ops and get your atties in bulk pretty cheap and tk, since you're into the RBA's, there are always co-ops going on for those things. I just picked up a couple of AGA's, igo-L's and s's, seven A7's and mini's and four mechanical mods, ranging in price from $7 to $26. Granted, it takes up to two months to get some things, but good god, are they cheap.

I've seen those threads and back before I found what works best for me, I jumped in an early CE2 carto buy.

I'm happy with and loyal to Cisco's stuff (avidvaper.com's owners screen name on ECF and other places). I just logged into my account and I've been ordering from him exclusively for attys since Feb 2011 (23 of them so far ).

I've switched to rebuildables exclusively. I have a few genny tanks but the rebuildable dripping atomizers are where it's at for me. I have a few flavors that I always keep on but I am constantly trying out new juice. Every single one of my all day vapes ends up losing it's flavor after a couple hundred mils so I end up ordering 10 or 12 different flavors to hold me over until I get the taste for it back. I have all of my A7's set up so I can drip different flavors and dry burn them to do the next one. I also have enough silica, mesh and kanthal wire to last me approximately two years and only spent about $30 on it.

Honestly, you should give an RBA a chance at least once. When you get the hang of them, a new wick and coil can be assembled in just a couple of minutes. That and with most them being able to hold 15-20 drops of liquid, you spend a lot less time dripping and more time vaping.

If you're interested, I might have one I could spare sitting around. I could wrap a coil to your specs (around 1.5ohm?) and send it off to you the next time I'm shipping out stuff. If you don't like it, send it on back. If you do, I'm sorry I got you started on another addictive part of the hobby.

@dave - my main atty right now is a 2Ω that i debridged, it came with my kgo kit, so it's probably a SLB. i'm using it on a mamu built 2x14500 OKR vv mod. my backup is a phoenix i got for $8 from DV. the rest is carto tanks and a did clone. i need to invest in a drip shield though, even with a sealed 510/510 it is leaky.
i am interested in that 8 wick monstrosity that looks like a giant drip tip too.

i like the ce3 clearos, but i take the silicone plug and the metal tube out and drip in them.

You're talking about the octopus/smoktech RDA. I actually have one listed in the classys over there. I wasn't a big fan. It was cheap, but more of a novelty than anything else.

Definitely. She was clearing out old stuff she had in the pif thread on vf ... A couple of flippies and one of the denas that she built for her brother in law ... I was lucky enough to get the dena.

Her dna20d builds are amazing. Tax return willing, I hope to snag one when she releases the next round ... Hopefully a silver sparkle milo. Too many people have dibs on the max builds ...

Got any links to ECF threads with good info on 'rebuildable dripping attys'. I very much prefer the flavor out of a 1.5ohm 901 over a 1.5ohm 510 or 306... plus I ALWAYS use an Empire dripshield with them to keep it neat, stylish and tighten the draw. But I'll at least read up on them.

I'd go DIY on juice if I was burning up that much a day. I just got 2 new 30ml bottles from Sweet-Vapes last week that I'm mixing 5ml into my last 5ml of my previous batch this morning... the new bottles are 6mg strength (down from 12mg).
