Anyone else trying to quit smoking in 2013?

Yup.....11 weeks now
Usually the 3 month mark is my breakdown point.
i am already starting to think about it more....
Stupid brain...What the H..LL !

You don't smoke anymore. Keep telling yourself. You don't smoke and not smoking is awesome. Just one cigarette and you're an addict again, and that sucks.

25 days for me today, and I've never felt better. I think about smoking sometimes but I just tell myself I don't smoke anymore and the thought will go away eventually.

Keep it up. You can do this. You already quit, that was the hard part. Now we just have to maintain.

Trying really hard. I have celiac disease and just this year developed severe allergies.
Besides, Im 41. I have to quit.

I read this book and I quit. Best $10 I ever spent. Just sayin'

rough patch last couple of days....but still no smoke.
My wife said if you decide to smoke, you are saying I don't mind getting cancer and dying a horrible slow painful death ...............like my Dad...........hmmmm
How is everyone else doing?

Three days in and I don't have that cold and lung butter yet. Fun awaits, but I'm not fiending much yet. Day one sucked. Psychiatrist, in a 12min appt said I was diabetic, gonna have a heart attack, and be bed-ridden for life. I had never seen her before. She's a nut, but I'm getting blood work tomorrow. Pretty sure I'm not diabetic, but it was good for shock value!

So I'm writing this enormous paper I need to write so I can graduate from college in five weeks. Typically when I would do this I would smoke like a ****ing fiend.

I keep thinking I want to smoke, even though I know I don't. It's really annoying. I'm not going to smoke, but I had to bitch about it a little.

46 days today. Probably the toughest one I've had so far.

14 weeks...I think...starting to lose count

Think back on all the things you have said to me that helped me get through this and apply it all to yourself

Do you really want one cigarette to undo everything you have achieved and make you an addict again?

Think about the life you really want to live.
Smoking poison and misery everyday?
Or not loathing yourself for stinking and doing what you know is antisocial and self destructive...suicidal
