Anyone else trying to quit smoking in 2013?

I know Erebus mentioned it before. Is this the entire book in PDF form?: Invalid Link Removed.

A few weeks ago my Wife and I went all out on some nifty vaporizing accessories. They have definitely helped cut my Newport 100 habit down to half of what I was smoking, some days even more.

Hey Guys, just wanted to say that I was a smoker for 23 years up until 1 month and 1 week ago. That's when I stumbled upon this thread and glanced over it , I noticed someone mentioned they quit by reading Alan Carr's book , East way to Stop Smoking. I figured what the hell, I'll give it a shot. And ever since I read it, I haven't smoked. So just wanted to say thanks to whoever posted about the book and that others should give it a try.

Glad it worked for you. I can't remember who posted it originally, but that's how I quit.

Been quit for a few years now and it was actually pretty easy for me. All it took was waking up in a hospital bed with a 30 pound sandbag on my leg holding the artery shut where my heart stent had been installed. As i came up out of the knockout drugs, the doc who did the install was standing there and the first thing he said to me was "that's the best we can do for you without cracking your chest." I asked what I needed to do to not need my chest cracked and he said cut down on fatty food and quit smoking. Haven't had a cigarette since, and it's been so long since I've been in a fast food joint the last time I tried the smell was so nasty I thought I was gonna upchuck. I had intention of grabbing a burger and something to drink and wound up walking out with a small chocolate shake.

I quit cold turkey Jan 20, 2001. I picked it up in late 2001 for 3 weeks and quit again... Since then I bought a couple of packs at various times, smoked 2 or 3 and threw the pack out ...

I haven't had a single drag for years now.

My mother died of lung cancer March 16, 2012... I wish she would have quit when I did...

I started vaping last week and it went great all week but I had to drive up to NorCal this weekend. On the way home yesterday my clearomizer gunked up and I couldn't get it to work. My backup was at my job.

Since I still had 2+ hours of driving I bought a pack of smokes. When I've tried to quit with gum before I was super stoked to get cigs again, but they were horrible after vaping. I'm such a cheapass I don't want to dump the box of smokes but I think I should, what say yall?

I'm all set up today but I have to travel again this weekend and am worried about a clearomizer dying again.

Any good recs for a tank that fits a e-GoT battery?

I still have the pack I opened last NYE in the center console of my truck. I've never been tempted by them and something just won't let me toss them. It's like a monument.

BTW, I've been seeing more and more blu-cigs or whatever they call them at gas stations. Better yet, get a few disposables for emergencies.
