Man I wish they would make certain colors available at ALL times like black and natural... Also, it would be REAL cool if they either out sourced their electronics or made them comparable to the great preamp/pickup companies. And, yes 4,5 and 6 string basses with 24 frets...

Sure. Like.. Fender wants to stay Number 1.. right? Yeah, sure, everyone wants to be number 1 and stay there. So, they should listen. It'd make us all happy.

True, but once upon a time companies like GM and IBM were at the top of the heap of their industries, and aren't now. In the case of GM, they had to be saved from bankruptcy even. If companies don't pay attention to trends and customer wants/needs, anyone is at risk to fail.

I don't think Fender is at any imminent risk, but it still behooves them to pay attention to changing customer demands.

i agree. they have jazz basses all across the board from the squiers to the AS series, but no p-basses in the MIM or squier series. only in the AS series. i would like to see them add lefty p-basses to the squier CV/VM line and the MIM line. i would also like to see them bring back the HRP.

In the mid-2000's, Fender made a MIA Precision that was butterscotch but looked orange.

My main gripe is color options. Yes, black, burst, and white are the standards but why are most of the colors so gloomy!

Also I wished Fender would bring back the Jag Bass and they did, and I snapped one up right away!
