When I saw Jucifer, I'm pretty sure one of the many cabs on stage was an Ampeg 4x15 cab.

Not 4x15 but there is some monster of cabinet floating around in some pics here. Iwsh I could remeber it, It was something like 8x10, 2x15, 2x12, maybe some 8s and an 18 too? It looked 12 feet tall.

Nope, no scoops and the speakers are staggered, not side by side.

The only obvious solution is to mount 36 speakers in the car, then drive it into the club.

The car is the cab.

(Or... just put wheels and an engine on that Ampeg 36x10 and drive it around.)

Nope, it was one single cab. Not either of those crazy Ampegs above. I can't remember the name of the company, it wasn't one of the usual manufacturers.

Peavey made a 4x15 back in the late 80s. It was marketed as a sub cab for a pa cab that held 2x15, 2x10, and a hf horn. Those cabs were about 36x36x18 IIR. I did see a pair of them stacked with a Peavey Max head (2x400w rms @4 ohms)

I used to use a pair of these. I mentioned them in another thread about large bass rigs:

I had the tops too. I still wonder if I found a used pair in good condition if I wouldn't buy them again? Probably more for sentimental reasons than anything.

I'm gonna say it.. I doubt that is an Ampeg. It looks like someone used the grill and hardware and made a cab, I could be wrong but that's what it looks like to me. Is there a model tag on the back of the cab (model # , watts, ohm)
