Double Bass Anyone here ever tried the B-Band Pickup?

I heard from one bassist who has one that it's a great pickup, but I can't find any mention of it here.

Ive tried one on a couple of basses on the road. Never on mine. Its hard to trust my judgement on other people's basses but I feel like its one of the best pickups out there. I havent come across a bad amplified sound when the rental bass has one of these installed. I can't say that for any other pickup FWIW. I use a realist on my own bass just for reference. To me it sounds like a realist but without the muddy boom associated with turning it up. I was extremely impressed with it. I think they are pretty pricey tho.
