Anyone here think instruments are about to get real cheap?

I was going to say they're worth nothing then because I steal my bases, but I decided not to.
Are they going to get real cheap? As of a few weeks ago - not on your Nelly, they aren't. This EBMM Stingray Special4 HH may be a lot of things - but cheap fer sure ain't one of them....
"Masters of pricing" are having helluva time. A new instruments are already priced by 50-100% above value. They included shelf time and inflation. But, that would not be enough.
Right now, people are still getting free money from the Government. Some of them are getting more than they had while they were working.
Adding zeros on the virtual money has a consequences. Very harsh times are ahead and people put the first in line. Current state of the world is unsustainable.
I expect very soon that price of the instruments will be thing of past and insignificant, while piece of food will be in high demand.

In Germany after World War One the government printed money without the reserves to back it up. There is the story of how it took a wheelbarrow full of Reichmarks to buy a loaf of bread, the money was next to worthless. A guy went to the grocery store to buy some bread with a wheelbarrow full of money, he went inside to get the bread, when he came out the wheel barrow was stolen and the money dumped on the street. The bass guitar is like a wheelbarrow. A useful tool always has value.
I have my great grandfather's fiddle. He and his brothers spent the early part of the Great Depression traveling around Texas, Arkansas and Louisiana playing music and singing for their supper. Take from that story what you will.
