I’m waiting on a SLO MkIIIS and a Hiero BEAD. The former was ordered a little after yours. It made it out of Russia (or was at least flagged as exported) but there’s been no update on it arriving into the UK. I’m pretty sure the latter is in Russia and, as far as I know, no flights are occurring between Russia and the UK.
All of that said, the above is intended to be informational because the question was asked. Given what’s going on, their expected delivery date isn’t really a concern. They’ll presumably arrive at some point. In the meantime, I’m wishing the Ukrainian TB members the very best and sending wishes that they and their loved ones stay safe.
If there are any shipping updates though, I’ll flag them in this thread.
Hiero estimates up to 1-3 month delivery time. But worst case he is on the hook for lost packages.I have, or had, a BEAD coming too, tracking says it left on 2/25 after a 10-day holiday in the Moscow facility before losing the signal. I'm about to move it to the writeoff column.
I had no issues with my original bead coming quick to aus but that was 2 years ago:.. crazy how quickly it changedWrong way like down into Davey Jones locker. I admit I thought twice about ordering from Russia but needed something between the XD and DubT and it carried a lot of positive buzz (fuzz?) so took the dive. If it shows up it will feel like a freebie!
By way of update: the SLO I ordered at the beginning of last month is now apparently in the UK. Royal Mail state that Global Express services are suspended but Global Priority services are not. Unhelpfully, I do not recall which I used but I strongly suspect it must have been the latter. If there are any shipping updates though, I’ll flag them in this thread.
who hated Geddy Lee? I never said that. I disrespect how he handled the last two years, but hate? No. The answer is again, Trudeau.
the SLO I ordered at the beginning of last month is now apparently in the UK...[snip]...The BEAD was stated to be leaving Russia on 2 March but it is not marked as on the way to the UK so its current whereabouts are uncertain.
Delivery date is still "pending"
To add another data point, my BEAD was ordered on March 3rd and the last update was yesterday, with Russian Post saying "Released From Russia" and Royal Mail here in the UK saying "Item Leaving overseas".I'm sorry to hear you're still waiting; I hope it arrives soon.
By way of update for those also waiting for items from Russia, my SLO MkIIIS has now arrived. Shipping from Russia to the UK took about a month but it is worth noting that the shipping process started before impediments were placed by the UK on Russian shipping. The BEAD is still somewhere in the process and it is unclear whether that made it out of Russia to begin its journey. I'll provide updates if any are received.
As mentioned in my earlier post, my update is intended to provide context to others in similar situations rather than to bemoan the impact a deadly conflict is having on my shopping delivery dates. My thoughts continue to be be with those Ukrainians still in Ukraine or those displaced from there by the conflict.
