Aquaman plays a P bass?

I think Momoa was miscast as aqua man.
Don’t get me wrong, I mean I like they guy, but I think they should have made a super hero role to fit his look.
Something like “Biker man”

Look up some clips from the old Justice League cartoon (not Super Friends) on YouTube. That’s the version they’re going for. He looked like that for quite a while in the comics too; IMO they never should have gone back to the clean cut look.

I have longer hair... and a beard... and a bartender told me I looked like “the dude from aquaman” the other day. I’m
A straight dude (as far as I know) but proceeded to be all giggly for way too long.... texted my wife and told her she replied “nah” way too quick...

I agree with her.

Edit: forgot to add, my torso is probably thinner than his arm.

About the Entourage running joke, they were talking about Aquaman on NPR the other day and they mentioned how all the bro dudes on that show were mocking Aquaman, and mentioned the irony that the current Aquaman is basically the kind of surfer bro dude you might find on that show. My brother even calls him "Aquabro" lol.

As for the movie, I liked it. Thought it was pretty good for a DC flick. A big fun action movie with a bunch of eye candy thrown in, the cool undersea cities and so on.

But I then saw Spiderman: Into the Spiderverse and man, that is an awesome film, one of the best comic book movies ever I think.

If it makes you feel any better, I thought Captain America: Civil War was a great spectacle but otherwise a bad and aggressively stupid film. Evidently the rest of the moviegoing world had other ideas.
You can’t watch these adventure/fantasy type movies with a critical eye - it’s pointless. They’re just mindless escapism and fun. I enjoy them as much as anybody but you have to suspend your disbelief.
I’m a died-in-the-wool sci-fi fan and I’ll watch anything with gadgets, aliens or space tech in it no matter how bad. It’s not about cinema quality really is it?

After Heath Ledger, I’ve found pretty much every superhero film bad and progressively stupid with the exception of Deadpool (haven’t seen pt 2). I’m looking forward to the Unbreakable sequel. The first was one of the better superhero movies ever made, IMO and it wasn’t even born out of a comic book.

I'm not sure the concept of "bro" applies to a Hawaiian.
