its a 3x15 its one louder than a 2x15....yes bass , treble and volume how perfect.

His guitars have custom made Metal Strings that can exceed temperatures of the sun.

that 3x15" wasn't the best sounding cab, the 2x15" I thought sounded better. I just picked up the 1x18" folded horn, sounds pretty good and is loud as hell.

Thanks - the 400 has been retubed with KT88s and rebiased - and even with the SKB rackcase, weighs in just under 50lbs - pretty manageable for an all tube lead sled...The cab I bought new, and had to wait several months for delivery - it's the best 215 I've ever played thru...

I'll just say that I bought a Walk-About when they first came out, from Mesa-HollyWood in my old SoCal 'hood.
Also ordered a 4-Ohm PH212 in beautiful Wine -like colored tolex.
Damn that was a great cab.
Both, alas, sold!

But before that:

It was the Store Demo, & I grabbed it up, had never seen anything like it.

Granted it is no Tower of Power, as a matter of fact, it is a little squat mofo.
I used to also employ it on top of a Diesel 15. (sold!) That was an amazing cab

Cons: Li'l squat mofo; heavy s.o.b.
Pros: 2x10 EVM Black Widows, Sounds like the Heavens. Ya know' tubes.

I just recently had serviced,(needed deep cleaning) sounds like new!

Nope. Too loud always ruins your hearing. Too soft not. I've yet to hear anyone do that.

One person playing too soft doesn't ruin your hearing but does makes a band sound like krap, everyone should be balanced

Yeah, I've played Mesa for cabs pretty much exclusively for at least 10 years, and nothing but Mesa or Genz Benz for the same... I've owned the PH810, 610, 410, 212, 210, three PH115s, RR115, and a PH1000 - you could say I've got a little experience with Mesa cabs... I gigged an M-pulse 600 for about 6 years, and a Big Block 750 for a few before that - although the Bass 400 is definitely a keeper

I have an SVT hauler too, a 94 Roadmaster wagon, don't have a picture though, but I've fit two SVT cabs, one or two SVT heads, an upright and one or two basses in that thing at the same time before and still had room for my wife.. Like that Chrysler.

I would agree you've got experience with MESA & the 400 should go to your Great-great grandchildren

Mesa is killing it for bass then and now w/ Strategy-Prodigy Subway, etc. Can't wait to see what's next.

I love it when people make that leap. Do you think that your understanding of physics defines physics?

This is approaching a recent conversation I had here where a guy told me I wasn't disagreeing with him, I was disagreeing with physics. It was a stunningly ignorant conversation. I don't expect that this time.
