Are you born "Emo" or do you become "Emo" ?

I dunno, I prefer good looking girls in general. I just couldn't take a girl seriously who dresses like a clown, wears horrible makeup and has stupid looking hair.
Ding!!

....and Bad Brains has just put our first points on the board!!!!
Good job, Bad Brains!!!! That answer is worth the full 10 points allowable this round!!

For those just now joining us, we also would have accepted:

"It's hard to dig a chick that makes you laugh when she's not trying to be funny"

"Uniforms are acceptable at work, constumes are good for Halloween, but you're not at either so please try again"

"There is no holiday that calls for show up for life looking stupid, yet"

or

"Stop trying so hard"

Let's wait for our next contestant to ring in.....

Mike

What about "Emo chicks should take those stupid-looking clothes off"?
Ohhhhhh!!! (muted trumpet)

i'm SO sorry, Hollowbassman!!

That would've garnered you points, BUT ONLY when accompanied with "...and scrub that mopey look off their face"

We won't dock you any points this time, but be aware that half answers like that will cost you in the next round!

Better luck next time!!!

Darn! It seems so obvious now.

What if I would've added a "wink" smiley?

Sorry, but this as-of-yet-unnamed gameshow doesn't recognize emoticons. If you were to buzz in with "can I add a wink-smiley?", I'd answer with, "only if you're trying to get kicked off this show".

For now, I'll consider this a "clarification of the rules" and not an actual answer. Consider yourself lucky. Now, c'mon, folks!! Back to the competition!

Mike

[Buzz]Can I ....oh wait. I read that wrong.:(
With that near-answer, we'll take a commercial break. Back in a second.

Introducing "I'm Having Trouble With Being Me" Eyeliner. Why waste your youth blending in!! Stand out with the rest of your school by poorly applying "I'm Having Trouble With Being Me" Eyeliner!! Add some character by smearing "I'm a Boy" Lipstick on and complete the package with our latest product, err, original design: "Plum Smuggling" Jeans, cut for girls, but made for boys. NOW is the time for you to stand out like everyone else and the only way to do it is by applying makeup!!

Huh...I'd have thought we had a different sponsor....

So I'm not sure how the advertisements work here, but when I opened up this thread, there was an ad at the top of the page that said, "Cheer up emo kid! Take the emo test... it's not that bad!"

First of all, that's hilarious. So I click on the link, which takes me to some BS quiz site, and figure, "why not?"

Question #7:

If you're emo, it doesn't really matter what gender you are. (You still wear eyeliner.) But in case you're not emo, what's your gender?

* I am a guy, and yes, I DO wear eyeliner. So what?
* Gender is meaningless, but if you MUST know, I am a girl.
* My dad calls me a girl, but I am actually a boy.
* I never dress girlie...EVER...but I am a girl.

So I finish taking the quiz, so I can bleed true emo blood, but they want my name, address, phone number, credit card number, and almost everything else...

...except my blood type, ironically...

:help:

I think you have to become emo... Otherwise, why would you have to pay to find out?

Finish the quiz. Type in a fake name, email address, and street address. Make sure your street address as abbreviated as possible, with lots of punctuation, then click next (or whatever it is). It will tell you that you have to fill out each blank correctly, and your address will be highlighted. At this point, you can escape by clicking on a bookmark, or hitting the back button. Any attempt to navigate away from the page will bring up a JavaScript dialog asking if you are sure you want to leave. If you select "Cancel", it will show you your test results. No need to give them any information.

Tested on Firefox.
