Odin, does Armstrong make the pickups to look exactly like the original SBs? Please post pics when you get them. And, more importantly, tell us how they sound!

Tough call really ! I'm currently on the amber SB-1000 alot.The tone control really comes close to the alembic armed LTD.The R80 definetly has a more P bass type neck compared to the rest but is very comfortable in its own way.I just picked up an early 82 Black & Gold 1 (SB-R60) and a late model SB-Elite II so I'll post pics when they arrive

Beautiful lineup! Which one do you like the best? I know it's probably a tough call. I have played all of those models as well, and I really like the RI (I have the CB version, all black), and the LTD with Alembic p'ups was amazing, too!
BTW, nice to see the cat was kind enough to tolerate you invading its space for a picture. I get the feeling he/she looks a tad perturbed...

made a short vid of me trying out the IGB-77 AVB-200 and cliff burton sig. pardon the playing though. 
i'd have to say though, among the 3, i liked the CB sig the most... i loved the neck on that one, and i love the meaty tone.

Thanks for the translation! The 14 degree pitched head just refers to the angle of the headstock. I'm not sure why Aria listed that (they do for a lot of different models). Maybe just to fill up the spec sheets.

No idea man, just said it was an 88 aria pro 2 bass, but either way its gone from what I hear. Sadly, but he is offering a 5 string Aria pro body, no idea what year, but no pickups or electronics. Here are soem pics, hes asking for a hundred. Think its worth it?

I think it is! And hey, if you don't want it, I'll take it. That is definitely an interesting color, though. Never seen any of those Integras with that finish. Usually they were white, black, blue or red, and sometimes natural. It looks like a mint green or something? Anyway, I would snag that, as long as the neck isn't totally warped. Looks like an ebony fingerboard, no?

I do sort of think its a solid price for a 5 stringer and a hard case. Is it common for some aria to not have a backplate like that? I'll let you guys know what I decide, but keep the opinions coming in the meantime. Thanks guys.

The cavities look to be similar in size to the bartolinis they use in the new ibanez BTBs, not sure of cost, but it looks like something that previously had soapbar pickups with a 2 band EQ (or 3 if one was a stack knob). Can't say for sure cause I've never seen an Aria of that style.
The lack of a neck plate is normal for those basses. My friend has an Aria 5 string bass that is probably the model after it and it's the same. It's definitely a two band EQ (bass treble). You might be better off with new pickups anyway since my friend's bass is extremely noisy with the stock p'ups.
