how is real life training on how to treat real battle wounds "just plain wrong"?Gonna shoot live pigs, then try to save them by operating on their wounds?
Even if they are anaesthetised and feel no pain, I think it is wrong. I'm no animal activist or anything, but that is just plain wrong IMO.

I suppose you could suggest another way of soldiers learning how to dress real battle field wounds?
Here's a link to the AAP article on it:

Feel free to speak up with any evidence to suggest its false. I'll be waiting patiently.....![]()

Yep... The U.S. military is known to stop training soldiers during times of peace.

I'm cool with them using pigs for training, as long as there were bi-products coming out of it as well. I mean surely they can't shoot a pig, operate on it, then if it dies just dispose of the carcass? Plenty of good meat/leather on there, may as well use it.
