Artists everyone likes that you don't understand

Tom Petty. I just don't get it. I've been in a ton of bands and they all played Petty tunes. I never got the appeal. The band I'm currently in plays Mary Jane and Runnin' Down a Dream. Still don't get it.

Bob Dylan. Really? Don't get it. And I grew up in the 60s & 70s. Just never got his cynicism and always thought musically he was atrocious.

The Doors. Never got their music or appeal.

I've gotta be honest it's hard to think of too many artists I truly dislike. There are many that I dont love, but I really appreciate most all music. Except for rap and country. Cant stand those genres.

I decided to play it as artists I truly can't understand the appeal of. I can understand differences of opinion but there's a few things out that just totally escape me.

Never met a person who likes it, but I don't get Yoko Ono's brand of music(?).

I kind of like Yoko Ono's tracks on Milk & Honey... lol

There is obviously music that I don't care for as much - but usually I try to find something good in whatever I happen to be listening to even if it is something I wouldn't actively seek out.

20 years ago when I first started playing music - I couldn't stand anything that wasn't 60s/70s rock or blues, everything else I just didn't pay attention to and some stuff I actively resented. Thankfully I grew up relatively quickly and found that it is easy to get bored of just one type of music.
