Assuming

Well, I figure most people have some kind of subdivision going on mentally.

I recently visited a workshop in which the instructor advised us to 'hear' the whole rhythm section while playing to keep us in time. Makes us fit in better.

So I guess the answer will be some variant of 'Yes'.
So it's kind of a learned thing, because I have a friend who does not seem to get it after jamming for 20 years, who simply does not know how to fill in a Beat

This is a fascinating thing, because I don't really 'hear' a drummer in my head, per se... it's more something I just 'feel' (internal "pocket"...?)… I'm very lucky to have this naturally, since it helps for when I need to cover a gig on drums... cheers!

I'm playing back most, if not all of the instruments and vocals in my head.

I was gonna point out a similar concept
Ideally you know and understand what every voice / instrument is doing.
As a certain level (which I have only rarely achieved)
you stop thinking of just your part of the song
And you are hearing, feeling, and responding to the whole.

Cool topic/idea!

I've never really thought about it before... I don't know that my mind "hears" a drummer/click track, but my neck has a funkometer of some sort in it... kinda like Joe Dart, maybe? I am a guy who CANNOT play or listen to music and remain still. It drives my wife batty, especially when we're driving somewhere. I'm that idiot at the stoplight who is shaking the entire car while jammin' out.

I FEEL the 1 more than I hear it, I think. I love playing AROUND the rhythm as much as right on top of it. Space, accents, etc here and there that seem to maybe... ghost the rhythm? I'm not classically trained, but do you know what I mean in that sometimes NO note is more funky and powerful than just playing that note straight? My neck/head still hits that beat, though, hahaha!

Of course, you only get to play like that if you've got a solid drummer, one who doesn't really "need" your help, haha! Nothing is more exciting to me than when a band is tight enough to be able to leave space for each other without it all falling apart. I may not be saying it right, but I think you smell what I'm steppin' in.
