Are the black ones as sparkely as the the red ones?

Mine is set to arrive tomorrow black 300, paid 169$ and emailed about getting the correct price match to save me close to 40$.

If they refund the amount to wear i only paid 130.99$ I will be stoked and if I get one of them rad cups you do not want to even know what I will do.

I am starting to hate all of you who did not have your orders canceled like I did. :spit:..JK, I actually leveraged the cancellation into a "significant" discount on a BA112 for my son's Christmas present so I am able temper my resentment...for now...;)

The black 300's are not sparkle but the black 305's are the sparkle finish. I checked one out one of the black 300's @ my local Sam Ashe today. I wish that the $199 price tag was still on MF as I would have tried to have used it to "influence" the SA guy to beat MF's price but alas, the only thing there now is "discontinued" so I have only the wisp of this thread for "price matching" and I don't think they would act on that alone...

I'm hoping to have my red sparkle by tomorrow. There is some weather that might affect transit times though...so it might be as late as Monday. I have my Vintage Modified Jaguar to keep me company until it arrives though:D

I originally got a 300 quote for $169...I ordered because I figured they would run out (which they did). I sent a question to customer service indicating that they only took off 10% rather than honor their 123% price match guarantee.

Just got confirmation that they had adjusted my price down to $130.99!

So if you paid more than $130.99 for your 300 shipped....call or email them and have them adjust you....they guaranteed the price :)

I was ready to pay the $169.....but I had hopes that they would honor their guarantee....which they did.

I paid 169$ but I emailed them about this I gotta thank you because now I have 38$ I would never have got back , and being a broke college student that goes a long way:)

I looked into your issue with the overcharge and I took care of it and refunded the money that we owed you ($38.01). I apologize for the inconvenience that was caused by the wrong price match.

It's amazing how a big enough company can just eat these costs left and right and still function! Amazing for us, at least:D

This wait is killing me. It's amazing. You could say that I own several "better" basses, but I've never bought a bass online before, so I feel like I'm waiting for my first bass ever! Monday can't come fast enough.
