no I dont have a cup holder on stage, but i might very soon. clips on to the drums....hmmm my drummer isnt going to know what hit her. now her rig is part of mine. mwahahhaa

I have mine clamped to the mic stand. In fact, everyone in the band has them now.

Hell, I’ve used a mic stand for nothing more than to hold the cup-holder, haha.

:)

Yeah...I pointed them to that web page and they still didn't know how to calculate it or where to find their own legalese on the policy (including the supervisor).

This is the email I sent them:

Hello, today, I placed an order for a bass guitar which had been price matched to Musicians Friend. I see that I had been credited with an additional $30 for the price match , but I see that you are having a 123% price match guarantee, which would actually bring the price down another $39 to $130.99. I was curious if this additional $39 could be taken off of my order?

Who did you send it to?

I sent virtually the same mail... got no response.

HOWEVER..they'll match the price for 45 days after purchase...so no rush I guess.

I would like a rush on my Sparkly Black 305 thats been rescheduled for delivery on 29th.:crying:

I just sent a message to customer service and said the category was "Price Matching"....they had a problem looking up my order number (their fault ...not mine...I got two #s....one with a bunch of leading zeros...one without....their system apparently requires the zeros). After three days I finally got my correct response. Their email says it can take up to 48 hours to respond...with the Holidays this week...I bet they are swamped.

just got faked out by the squeaky brakes on the garbage truck. ran to the door, busted it open, in just shorts and the garbage guy just looked at me funny. I REALLY need something to occupy my time today

alright i'll take some pics in a sec. first off. the neck is 1/8 wider at the 12 fret. I can definitely feel it. second the neck is also thicker, maybe like 1/16 to 1/18 thicker. that's the first thing i noticed when I picked it up actually. the fit and finish is nice. and somehow the setup is pretty dead on. lower action than my 07 that I just acquired and no buzzing! it still sounds the same though. but a different feel. so out of 4 ATKs 3 of them feel completely different. and as soon as my one atk gets its neck back, ill have 4 completely different feeling atks. :D

I love the slightly thicker neck. For rock it’s a great grippy neck. I find myself hitting notes cleaner and be able to play more aggressively with it, which equates to TONE. My setup was perfect also, and the neck is very stable so I’ve only adjusted the truss rod once in over a year. Amazing considering I live in Chicago with all the changes in weather. Even when it needs to be adjusted, it’s the sweet pinwheel type and takes about two seconds! It’s truly amazing that Ibanez can develop instruments like this at such an affordable price!
