This isn't as heavy as I thought it would be, probably about 9lbs? No scales though. Weighs less than my Jackson J bodied PJ type though

9-10 pounds is definitely doable for me. I owned one that was upwards of 12 pounds and it was hard to handle for more than 30 minutes or so.

My package is in NJ today, which means from past experience that it should be delivered tomorrow. Only about an hour away. I have a delivery date of the 30th. I called. They said no deliveries after today till monday! Whats up with that crap! Since when does anyone besides school kids and teachers get off on black friday. Or did they always? And I never cared before cuz I always had off? Anyhow, they said they also tack on another day because they're so overloaded come monday. Dagnabbit!

IT'S HERE IT'S HERE IT'S HERE!!!! I finally got my Music123 coffee mug!!!

Oh yeah, I also got this bass with the mug too...

I'm still at work, so I didn't get to check it out too thoroughly, but my first impressions are very positive. Feels great, very well built. There is slight fret sprout, but it's also cold and still needs to warm up. Setup seems decent, but is a little high for my tastes, so I'll tweak it when I get home (thankfully it comes with the proper tools which will make it quick and easy, and I can use the little rod with my Ray34 too!). I also got a free pack of picks as well, a nice little addition.

It doesn't look as bad as I thought it would. So thats cool My Squier VM-Pbass project just got here. So that will keep my mind off the ATK for a while

On a side note, this new talk bass iPhone app makes it VERY simple to upload photos.

My 305 is 10-¾ lbs on the doctor’s scale, as opposed to my Jazz V at 10 lbs even.

I decided to gig it tonight as is, intonation close enough for now.

Shouldn’t be as heavy as the ATK750K (I remember) because it lacks some of the electronics, a pickup and wood layers.
I was considering getting one of these for that stupid price but I’ll put up with the weight of my 750K because it sounds so good in a band setting.

My Red Sparkle 300 is out for delivery.....I am thinking I should have gotten a black one too!

If I didn't just get a Ray35 on a trade....a 305 would have been nice as well...

...so if anyone has a black 300 that they MIGHT want to get rid of... let me know....
