This would be the Hathor 1855? Perhaps v2.0 with vertical midrange drivers instead of the cross-firing compartment?

No this would be one of the elite eight (Duke only made 8 of these) 1544's I just got from smallequestrian!
At first glance, I thought that was a Hathor 1203 -- it's not much wider than the Walkabout. I can see that it's bigger than that, now -- still, the cab is smaller than I'd have expected.

Is it a 4 or 8 Ohm cab? With any cab + Walkabout pairing, I always wonder how well the Walkabout will push it at volume ("at volume" varying with your needs, of course).

It is 8 ohms and I'm going to gig my proud 165 WA watts but definitely have my Ibanez P500H (350 watts at 8 ohms) with it if im not getting what I need out of it. Tonight is a block party in downtown Birmingham on the street so people will probably not be dancing too much but more schmoozing. We shall see! I was going to play my roadworn p bass but that baby has not been shielded and properly grounded so I am having to hold off (I FREAKING HATE THAT WORTHLESS NOISE OF NOT CLOSING A DANG CIRCUIT!) and play my Peavey Milestone II (crap bass I know) that has good Fender Original pickup and CTS Pots, Russian NOS PIO cap, swithcraft jack and most importantly is quiet! Labella Deep Talkin' Flats and a plastic pick with high action so I can dig in!

I think mine is 8 ohm. And yeah the walkabout ran out of steam and was not loud enough and felt stressed and not great distortion tonally just out of breath.

Isn't that what every WA would have told me going into it? Outdoors for 400 ppl haha well I did have PA support. That reminds me how I hate not having a pre/post DI control......

It's probably been said ad nauseum but how hard is it for Mesa to just double the power section on the walkabout?

I am unsure why Mesa has not done exactly that given the strong Walkabout following. It has been requested repeatedly. If you dig the tone, you could add another Hathor or two to your current cab. The WA will pull 2.67 Ohms without breaking a sweat.
