Agreed, about the sunlight.

Though I never dealt with Curt Mangan Strings directly, I will refer you to my friend who owns a music store and is a Curt Mangan dealer.

He believes that they might either assemble a 6-string set for you, or provide single strings you can add to standard 5-string sets.

That's interesting about the sunlight. I'll listen for the difference next summer!

For what the PLX-1804 does, it's not so big at 13 pounds and 10.5" deep.

Though it can't be bridged, with 600 watts per channel at 8 ohms and 900 watts per channel at 4 ohms, this amp can give good power to a nice range of between one and four AK cabinets at once.

Thanks. It is a honey. Just by chance it's the second 1969 Precision I ever owned. The first one was great, but is long gone.

Ha! I wish. Actually I used my break time during my work day at home, so I was completely Beverage-free. Also, spontaneously I lost the habit of drinking for what is almost two years now. That may change this week, though...

Ahh, Brandy. As a true Wisconsin resident, I never leave for a gig without packing the emergency Brandy.

I gave the 46 + fearful 12/6 another try tonight.Tried both a Gallien Krueger MB500 and a Art ProChannel into a Crest Prolite 2.0. The MB500 sounded darn good. The pre + power amp is the rig I call Miss Budweiser after the unlimited class hydroplane. The big rig lived up to its nickname. I had that big New York TV tone without trying.

I'm going to put a few gigs on this pile of stuff. It sounds HUGE and effortless. I had forgotten how much I dig the feeling of effortless. If this is what two Hathors do, I get it now. Big is good.
